We’re Building Africa’s Next Generation of Founders
In 2024, we noticed something troubling across Nigeria and Africa: brilliant people with world-changing ideas were giving up before they even started.
Not because they lacked talent. Not because they lacked passion. Not even because they lacked opportunities.
They gave up because they were alone.
Entrepreneurship in Africa felt like navigating a maze blindfolded. YouTube offered scattered advice. Business books taught Silicon Valley frameworks that didn’t work here. Friends and family meant well but couldn’t guide what they hadn’t experienced. And existing programs were either too expensive, too theoretical, or too disconnected from African realities.
Meanwhile, the ones who did succeed often had something in common: they had mentors, they had structure, and they had a community of other founders who understood the journey.
That’s why we created Startup Faktory.
Not another lecture series. Not another certification program that looks good on LinkedIn but doesn’t help you build.
We built a faktory—a place where founders actually manufacture their businesses. Where learning happens through building. Where mentorship isn’t a luxury but a guarantee. Where you’re surrounded by people as ambitious as you are, all pushing each other forward.
Our name isn’t a typo. “Faktory” is intentional. Like a factory produces goods, Startup Faktory produces successful founders. We take raw potential and through intensive training, expert guidance, and relentless practice, we help you build something real.
